(Sterling Nicole Bennett) Something clicks in your brain. You’ve been here before. You’ve done this. This has happened. But, that’s impossible! This is the first time you’ve ever been in this situation. What might Déjà vu be trying to tell you?

Imagine you’re in a familiar space before birth. You’re with your guides, choosing your earthly body. You then find yourself watching a movie of your soon-to-be life from beginning to end. You see yourself as a child playing catch, as a teenager arriving at your first day of high school, and proceed to travel the world before college. All of these memories are then seemingly stripped away during the intense trauma of being born into this world. You now come to earth in a physical form, experiencing life as a fresh new human.
You are now walking and talking in this strange new environment. The man you’ve come to call “Dad” takes you outside to teach you how to play the classic game of Catch. As he tosses the ball your way, something clicks in your brain. You’ve been here before. You’ve done this. This has happened. But, that’s impossible! This is the first time you’ve ever been in this situation.
“Catch it, kid!” Dad yells.
You lift your stubby little arms in the air and catch the projectile before it has the opportunity to bounce off of your head.
Your dad cheers as you stare off into space, confused at the strangeness of your own memory. What has just happened?
It is theorized that before we are born, each one of us chooses the life we are about to live. Some experiencers report recalling vivid memories of choosing their bodies and watching their lives on a screen before coming into their mother’s wombs and being born.
If Déjà vu is the intense feeling of belief that the events you are witnessing have happened before, perhaps Déjà vu is the universes way of showing you that you are on the path you chose before coming to earth. Given that free will is always in play, we can always deviate from the path.
Perhaps the more Déjà vu you experience, the more aligned you are with your ultimate path.
Déjà vu is akin to synchronicity in the sense that they are both tools your guides use to send you messages to pay attention. We, as humans, can generally be quite distracted and stubborn. If we choose to view these instances of synchronicity or Déjà vu with meaning, then we will open ourselves to receiving the advice our guides are trying to convey to us.
What might Déjà vu be trying to tell you?
What does the mysterious Déjà vu mean to you?
